Positive Vibes:

Dorinne Banks and Yawen Kang,
Thank you for all of the work you both put into our library fall events--beautiful job, as always, on putting together everything that was needed. Yawen, thanks for always volunteering to be our go-to person for making and printing out our posters (when you're not troubleshooting our computer issues); and your faculty event photos turned out great! Dorinne, thanks for you extra help on the display boards, in and around the usual work you have to do on a daily basis to keep those research materials moving. I'm so fortunate to work with such dedicated and creative people; believe me, you are both very much appreciated!

  • Tara Patterson

Jackie Bendall, Kari Aldridge, Peter Sabela, Mike Alford, and Bruce Grogan,
Thanks for your assistance in processing our critical requisition yesterday!

  • Melia and all of the Gelman IMLS Grant Staff

Thanks to Adrienne for helping my transition into my new position! I couldn't do it without you!
  • Jen Bodie

Emily Blackstone,
Thanks for all your help in getting the October Committee mailing done - no way I could have done it without you!

  • Dorinda Tucker

Kreda,
I appreciate all of the work you do to make my collection work easier. Your work on your invoices is completed in an accurate and timely manner.  I know you give your best efforts to your job, as it is obvious that you care about the quality and preciseness of your work.
You are responsive with my many requests to resolve invoice issues even if some awards have "sticky" problems.
Best of all, you are always so pleasant and kind!

Thank you to Keston Dwarica and Marlon Benjamin for yet another job well done facilitating the videoconference connection, camera work, and recording for the LEAD Power Hour this week.  Great job!
    • Darcy Czajka

Linda and Margaret always provide Payroll Services with an alert when a UPD employee is terminating.  As I am the one who processes all the terms, we have in the past had issues because we were not told timely.  They always provide us with all the needed information so that the final paycheck for the employee will be done right the first time.
    • Carol Lynn Beninca, Payroll Services

Dawnita - Thanks for all your hard work at the F Street House.Your dedication and enthusiasm are always appreciated!

Steve, you always come through for us, even when we come to you with last-minute issues.  You are always calm and friendly and go out of your way to make your clients happy.  You are amazing, and a real asset to the whole GW community!
    • From all of us at Employee Training and Development

Thank you to Kim Carusone, Jennifer Joslin, and Dorinda Tucker for exhibiting true leadership by facilitating the LEAD book club discussion groups.  Feedback from participants is excellent and inquiries about the next book are already coming in.  Thanks for making this series a success!
    • Darcy Czajka

To Basil Jackson, I know I can speak for the other facilities employees who recently took part in the Learning Excel classes. Thank you for your patience, which was tried many times during the course, but you took the time to work with each individual needing extra assistance.  You established the pace at which we would be working, so that no one would be left behind.  You are a wonderful instructor and I look forwarding to taking many more courses under your guidance.
    • Valerie Lattimore

Rodney - Thank you for going the extra mile in assisting me with quickly replacing a Verizon Blackberry for a Gelman staff member as I began my new assignment at the Gelman Library!
    • Melia

Chris, Thank you for putting staff development on the front burner of our division and for all the individual guidance you provide, especially to our young staff.
    • Adrienne Rulnick

Thank you Gloria for all you do to make our office such an enjoyable place to work, your positive, thoughtful and compassionate nature is one to admire.  Somehow you are able to give all of us the support we need when we need it and for that I am grateful to know you.
