Law School- Office of Alumni Relations

Ingredients:

o 6 apples

o 1 cup sugar

o 1 cup flour

o 1/2 cup butter

o pinch of salt

Directions:
Pre-hyeat oven to 300 F, Peel, core, and quarter apples. With a pastry blender, make crumbs from the sugar, flour, butter, and salt. Place the apples into lightly greased g-inch pie plate. Cove with pastry crumbs, place lid on pan, and bakd for 1 1/2 hours. Remove lid turn oven to 400 F degrees and bake for 15 minutes.

Special Instructions:This can be made in a casserole dish, if you don't have a convered pie pan. Also, I like to use Rome apples or Granny Smith apples, but the pandowdy has come out well even with Macintosh apples.
