Winner will select photo to be used.  The photo does not have to be one submitted for the contest.

**All participants will receive an 8" x 10" copy of their contest photo(s).**

Contest Rules

Number of Entries
An individual may submit only two photos to the contest.

Photographer/Copyright
Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than yourself. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo and entry form is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.

Photo Subject Restrictions
Photos must be appropriate for posting on a public website. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered.  Colonial Community retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.

Return of Photos
Photos, regardless of the medium, will not be returned. Please do not send your only copy of a photo.

Ownership/Use Rights
By entering the contest, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed at the Colonial Community Photo Gallery event and on the Colonial Community website.  Photos will be credited to the photographer named in the entry form. Entries (including non-winning entries) may be selected for display or use in other Colonial Community or Division of Human Resources materials, with permission from the photographer.  In the event that ownership of any photograph submitted to Colonial Community is contested in any manner, Colonial Community retains the discretion to disqualify that photograph and discontinue use of the photograph.

How to Enter
Digital photos may be submitted to WeAreGW@gmail.com along with the contest entry form. Prints may be mailed along with completed entry forms to Colonial Community at 2100 M Street, NW, Suite 409. All entries must be accompanied by a completed contest entry form. Entries must be received by Friday, April 18, at 5:00 p.m..

Judging
Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and effectiveness in conveying the contest theme. A Colonial Community panel will judge the entries and all contest decisions are final. Entries that fail to comply with the Official Contest Rules will be disqualified. The Colonial Community panel will include professionals in photography, graphic design, marketing and public relations.

Preferred Image Resolution (for best picture quality)
3000 x 2400 pixels
or
8 x 10 inch at 300 dpi

Minimum Image Resolution
1500 x 1200 pixels
or
8 x 10 inch at 150 dpi
